  2. my favorite red:
I must admit I'm quite a big fan of red, so I would say I really liked the Malbec, Nebbiolo, Syrah. The Aglianico was a bit too sweet for me. But I do like Epicuro's other reds.

    my favorite white:
    Riesling

    my favorite app:
Pimento Cheese. I've just become a fan of pimento cheese and am excited to know TJ's makes an awesome one!

  3. As my DC winos know, I am a big fan of sweet and fruity wines. Thus, I was very surprised that 2 of my 3 favorites were reds-- the Anglianico (Epicuro) and the Syrah. For some reason, I had always steered clear of Syrah's, but I now know how rich in fruit they can be. I also loved the Lambrusco (not surprising)-- I think it's a great summer wine and I love the bubbles!

  4. This is fantastic!

My favorite wines were the Barbaresco (ummm YUM!) and the Malbec. My Sauv Blanc smelled like manure!

As for food, I think the mushroom spanakopita was my favorite...

Excited for the next meeting in June!
